I am available for booking as a visiting artist/teacher to schools and colleges, for workshops, seminars, poetry readings and for inclusion in joint exhibitions.

Recent workshops:

I have been a teacher since 1974 and have worked with all age groups, including, nursery, infants, juniors, KS3, 4 and 5 pupils; special school pupils and in adult education.

I am qualified in Graphic Design, window and Exhibition Display, Interior and environmental Design and fine art.

My qualifications in education include: 1994 Cert Ed (Distinction) (Alnwick College) and in 2001 M.Ed. (University of Plymouth).

In a 2006 OFSTED I was given an ‘Outstanding’ for my teaching!

I have worked with local galleries to deliver masterclass projects and have organized integrated art workshops with many local artists, poets and musicians, including, Matt Harvey, Phil Bowen (poets), Antoni Frost (painter) & Janet Mitchell (collage artist).

A performing poet and an exhibiting artist since 1971, I have exhibited my artwork widely in the UK, and have work in private collections worldwide.
